2008 Check Presentation to Habitat for Humanity
Dear Friends,
We invite you to participate in our 2009 Raising the Roof benefit in support of Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity. In 2008 we held our second annual event and with a combination of hard work and monetary contributions from individuals and businesses we donated $20,000 to Habitat. Our donation the past two years helped provide homes to two deserving local families in Brunswick County.
We are excited about helping Habitat for Humanity again in 2009. We are certain that with your help our 2009 event will not only be as successful as in the past but that we will be able to exceed last year’s contribution.
You may know that Habitat is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety. All who desire to be a part of this work are welcome, regardless of religious preference or background. Habitat was founded to assist those who want to help themselves. Participants are carefully screened and must contribute “sweat equity” to their home and make payments based on their financial circumstances. Follow the link on the left for the stories of some of the Brunswick County families we’ve been able to help with our support of Habitat for Humanity.

Please keep in mind that these are suggested levels and that we will appreciate any contribution you make. Raise the Roof proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity. All our sponsors receive a variety of public recognition and advertising opportunities for participating in this worthy event along with the opportunity to join us for some fun at our Golf Tournament scheduled to take place at the Thistle Golf Club on Saturday June 13, 2009.
